OASE speaks of a world that is falling apart, where we have gone too far, where asphalt covers nature, where black oil is more valuable than culture. The fight for control of resources is ruthless. We isolate ourselves in order to protect ourselves, we wave flags to shout that we exist or to repel those who would like to come. OASE also raises the question of man's relationship with nature, his desire to transform and control it. OASE speaks of the illusion of a better world. Covered in asphalt, OASE refers to the industrial production from which it originates and its consequences: conflicts over its control and exploitation, industrial domination of the economy and nature, and the exploitation of humans.
